Website privacy and health information

Last updated September 1, 2026. This summary explains what the website collects, why it is collected, and where medical details should be shared.

Information collected through the website

The information collected depends on what you choose to do. Browsing does not require you to enter your name or medical history. Appointment and intake workflows collect the information the practice needs to respond, schedule, verify coverage, and prepare for care.

  • Contact details you choose to provide, such as name, phone number, and email
  • Appointment preferences, provider selection, and scheduling information
  • Coverage, referral, and health information entered in scheduling or intake workflows

Advertising and website measurement

Advertising measurement is disabled unless the practice approves and activates it. When enabled on public acquisition pages, it is limited to page activity and general actions such as calling or continuing to scheduling. Google measurement is not loaded on scheduling, intake, contact, privacy, or administrative pages.

  • Do not put medical information in advertising URLs, campaign fields, or public web forms
  • Advertising events are not designed to include names, contact details, conditions, referral status, insurance, or appointment details
  • If separately approved, browser storage may retain an advertising click or campaign identifier for up to 90 days
  • On approved paid landing pages, the website may record how long the page was visible. That record is the page path and the number of seconds only

How information is used and shared

Information is used to respond to requests, coordinate appointments, support treatment and payment operations, and maintain the website and practice systems. Service providers may support hosting, scheduling, records, communications, and other practice operations under the agreements and safeguards that apply to their role.

  • Only provide the information needed for the request you are making
  • Detailed medical history belongs in the practice's designated intake or clinical workflow
  • The practice does not sell your medical information

Sharing medical details safely

A website privacy policy is not a HIPAA authorization and does not replace the practice's Notice of Privacy Practices. Use the designated scheduling and intake steps for care-related information, or call the office when you are unsure where something belongs.

  • Do not put medical history in a general contact request
  • Call (301) 869-0006 for appointment-specific or referral questions
  • Call 911 or seek emergency care for a medical emergency; do not use a website form
